Galawgaw meets devil-may-care jeepney driver

Galawgaw is, of course, Nida Blanca, playing the title role in Aling Kutsero. The devil-may-care jeepney driver is NOT favorite partner Nestor de Villa but Leroy Salvador.

Nida was then LVN queen and resident comedienne-dancer, while Leroy was the studio’s all-around actor. He was at home in drama and comedy.

Aling Kutsero proved to be a hit but fans still wanted Nida to be paired with Nestor. Leroy teamed up with other LVN actresses, including Charito Solis — RKC
