The unending search for happiness

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - From the creative team that brought us the highest-grossing digital film Ang Lalake sa Parola and critically-acclaimed films Ang Lihim ni Antonio and Kambyo comes a story of one gay’s quest for happiness — Little Boy/Big Boy.

It tells the story of a carefree graphic artist named Raymund and how he is filled with doubt as he is suddenly faced with the responsibility of looking after 17-year-old nephew Zach. But while taking care of Zach, Raymund finds himself in the middle of building a relationship with his new lover Tim where he teaches him the value of acceptance and self-respect.

The gripping indie film, which stars Paolo Rivero as Raymund, Douglas Robinson as Tim, and Renz Valerio as Zach, is directed by Joselito Altarejos with screenplay by Lex Bonife.

The director shares that Little Boy/Big Boy “has turned out to be an adult gay-drama with lots of sensitive scenes, heart-warming moments and insights on relationships — gay or straight.”

It premieres on July 30, 7:30 p.m. at Robinsons Galleria, Robinsons Movieworld Cinema 4, and is presented by Digital VIVA, Beyond the Box and Robinsons Movieworld. Regular screening in select cinemas starts Aug. 5.
