TV5 launches new late-night shows

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – TV5 unveils another roster of hip and edgy shows for daytime, primetime and late night entertainment. Offering a variety of reality-magazine, cooking, gaming, talk, and interactive shows that match the progressive Pinoys’ lifestyle, TV5 launches its late evening shows on its Late Night Trip with new programs Urban Tribe, Promdi Chef, Stoplight TV, How About My Place Tonight? and MOG (More on Gaming) TV at 11:30 p.m. starting tomorrow, July 20.

Male magazine program Urban Tribe celebrates men’s different interests every Monday, showcasing inspiring stories of progressive Pinoys marching and firing up the torch of modern virile life. Hosted by Minco Fabregas (Jaime Fabregas’ son), Stephan Loewenstein, Alvin Cornista, Danger Sanchez and Marcus Maguigad who make up the Fiesta House band Tribomanila, the show aims to highlight the strength of the modern Pinoy persona in various urban and social settings.

Discover the delicious secret of a good authentic Pinoy recipe by journeying through our very own rich culture in Promdi Chef, giving you a taste of the best of Visayan food served by Chef Jose Mari Gaston every Tuesday. On Wednesdays, automotive junkies will park their speedy cruisin’ machine on the one-stop program about motoring and motor sports lifestyle of the on-the-go Pinoy, Stoplight TV, hosted by Ardge Barbaso, Love Tioseco and Mayone Bakunawa.

Hang out with the coolest chefs every Thursday in How ‘Bout My Place Tonight?, a cooking show that makes culinary masterpieces appear like practical arts as executive chef of Embassy cuisine, Fernando Aracama, and head of Bistro Group of Restaurants, chef John Cu-Unjieng, discuss the latest in the food industry and the meatiest topics in the hippest restaurants in the metro.

Be the first to hear reviews, cheat codes and gaming hints every Friday with Sam YG and Denise Laurel in MOG (More On Gaming) TV, the techy show that features the hottest on-line games in the industry and the latest console games, gadgets and events.

Topping all of these weekday shows after 11:30 p.m. is Jojo Alejar’s Jojo A. All The Way! at 12 midnight, followed by the hippy, naughty interactive game show Insomnia, the search for the ultimate insomniac hottie who will stay up with you until past midnight.
