Christian conquers Lanao del Sur

MANILA, Philippines – It was one of the most heartwarming musical shows hosted by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Sur.

Christian Bautista (photo), known for his hits The Way You Look At Me, Invincible and She Could Be, conquered the hearts of Maranao fans during the 50th Araw ng Lanao at Lanao del Sur.

Just like his recent album, Captured, Christian captured once again the jive and the soulful spirit of the Maranao people.

According to Gov. Mamintal ‘Bombit’ Alonto Adiong Jr. and First Lady Raifa Adiong, bringing artists such as Christian to the Mindanao would not only help tourism industry but preserve the safety of Lanao del Sur. It is now considered a safe haven for tourists.

The show was one of the major activities sponsored by the provincial government ‘I’m happy to be invited here in Lanao del Sur. I’m amazed to see the beautiful and the vibrancy of Maranao culture,’ says Christian.
