Nestle Sorbetes in Pampanga

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Pampagueños flocked to the streets of San Fernando to welcome the Nestlé Sorbetes motorcade led by Pokwang.

Pokwang is known to have a special way of touching the lives of Filipinos through her comedy antics. And this time, she spreads the fun as the new endorser of Nestlé Sorbetes.

“Nestle Sorbetes is really for everyone,” said the comedienne-host. “Talagang mag-e-enjoy ang lahat dahil masarap ito at hindi pa mabigat sa bulsa,” said Pokwang who is regularly seen in the noontime show Wowowee and gag show Banana Split.”

With the Nestlé Ice Cream North-Central Luzon team, Pokwang toured major supermarkets in the region and treated Pampangueños to an afternoon filled with exciting activities and overflowing Nestlé Sorbetes.

Pokwang entertained her fans by performing Papa Sorbetero,  official Nestlé Sorbetes jingle. Papa Sorbetero is the updated, contemporary version of the classic Pinoy pop hit Mamang Sorbetero. Pokwang’s musical antics kept Pampangueños grooving throughout the parade. Aside from the colorful motorcade, people enjoyed the various fun activities such as a hula hoop and videoke challenge.

The Nestlé Sorbetes motorcade was held as a gesture of gratitude toward consumers for making Nestlé Sorbetes the best-selling ice cream in the region.

“This is our way of thanking consumers here in North-Central Luzon who made Nestlé Sorbetes their No. 1 ice cream choice,”said Arthur Francis Taguba, AVP for Regional Sales Manager, North and Central Luzon Nestlé Ice Cream.
