Christian graces Araw ng Lanao

MANILA, Philippines - Christian Bautista will grace Araw ng Lanao on June 28 to July 4 at Lanao del Sur.

Just like his recent album, Captured, Christian will capture the jive and the soulful spirits of the Maranao Ladies in the governors’ night and the first ladies’ night on July 1.

According to Gov. Mamintal “Bombit” Alonto Adiong Jr., bringing artists such as Christian to Mindanao will help in the tourism industry and show Lanao del Sur a safe place for tourists to come and visit.

“This celebration is a continuation of my father’s legacy,” he says. “We are thankful for the provincial and national government for making this event possible.”

Activities for the Araw ng Lanao also include a sports tournament, highlighted by the inclusion of PBA imports and Maranao Arts and Culture Fest.

Other activities are an office-to-office visit around the provincial complex; an Open House where Maranao food is served, and other musical celebrations.
