Star Magic talents shine on

MANILA, Philippines – ABS-CBN Star Magic has all the reason to celebrate its 17th year as the country’s largest network recently launched programs showcasing Star Magic artists whose programs are soaring high in the ratings game.

Viewers were up for a change in their afternoon fare with the introduction of Kambal sa Uma which stars Shaina Magdayao and Melissa Ricks. The show is supported by Star Magic artists Jason Abalos, Matt Evans, Aldred Gatchalian, Carlo Guevarra and Bangs Garcia.

Kapamilya were treated to the TV remake of the Koreanovela Only You last April 27. Only You is topbilled by Angel Locsin with Star Magic’s Sam Milby and Diether Ocampo. The show premiered with high ratings.

Playing the villain in Only You is Star Magic’s bet for drama, Dimples Romana.

Star Magic’s Kristine Hermosa made her comeback on primetime TV via Komiks Presents Mars Ravelo’s Nasaan Ka Maruja? The new series started sending chills and thrills to viewers with her acting prowess through a television series. Kristine is joined by fellow Star Magic artists Kitkat and Enchong Dee.

The phenomenal Filipino, romance pocketbook everyone loves to read is now seen on TV. May is the new month of romance as ABS-CBN offers the bestselling, widely read and well-loved pocketbooks — Precious Hearts Romances Presents (PHR). For its initial offering, PHR presents the Bud Brothers series, written by Rose Tan, known to romance readers for her remarkable brand of humor and wit. The Bud Brothers series revolves around the college fraternity brothers who put their business, the Bud Brothers Flower Farm, and the quirky yet gorgeous women these men will fall for.

The show features Star Magic artists Jake Cuenca, Rafael Rosell, Joem Bascon, Wendy Valdez, Maricar Reyes, Manuel Chua, Janna Dominguez, Guji Lorenzana and Roxanne Guinoo.

The latest show that successfully invaded television was Boystown, featuring Gigger Boys: Enchong Dee, Robi Domingo, Sam Concepcion, Aj Perez, Aaron Villaflor, Dino Imperial and Chris Gutierrez.

Under the direction of Lino Cayetano, the boys are set to take on real drama through Your Song Presents Boystown, a story that will revolve around the life of the Boystown Boys showing that Boystown is not for juvenile delinquents alone.
