The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines – International pianist and recording artist David Osborne will be performing in his first Manila concert titled The Keys to Your Heart on June 21 at the Manila Hotel Tent City.

Known worldwide as the Pianist to the Presidents, Osborne has had the privilege of performing at the White House for US Presidents Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and George Bush (both father and son). He is also a regular performer for former US President Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn in Plains, Georgia and even organized his 75th birthday tribute in 1999. According to Carter, “David Osborne is one of the finest pianists in the Unites States.”

For the past three years, Osborne has been a regular fixture at the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Prior to the Bellagio, Osborne performed at Caesars Palace for 12 years.

The Keys to Your Heart will feature Osborne performing romantic, classical, jazz, pop, inspirational, patriotic and Broadway show tunes. He will be joined by some of the country’s best artists including John Lesaca, Eddie Katindig, Immigration Commissioner Nonoy Libanan on guitar, soprano Kris Gonzales, classical-pop vocal group Angelos, soprano Fame Flores, Pinky Marquez and Joey Lina. The show is produced by Beth Sison-Tagle of Newsmakers. Stage direction is by Al Quinn while musical direction is by John Lesaca. Project director is Arch. Nestor Mangio.

Proceeds of the dinner-concert will go to the construction of the Scala Santa Chapel in Monte Maria, Batangas. The chapel is a project of healing priest Fr. Fernando Suarez, CC. A healing Mass will also be held prior to the show.
