A delectable summer treat

MANILA, Philippines - Everybody is in for a delectable treat as ABS-CBN serves the TV remake of the Koreanovela Only You starting April 27. It stars Angel Locsin, Sam Milby and Diether Ocampo.

When asked what she felt upon learning that she will be part of Only You, Angel answered, “I was happy that I got a new project. I’m excited because this is totally different from Lobo, a fantaserye. It challenges the actor in me because Only You requires a new approach. It is light romance and it will cheer people up.”

Diet shares, “Coming from a very successful teleserye, you want to surpass your accomplishments in the past. But more than the pressure, like what I said, I am more excited and challenged to do a project that will give us a totally different feel. You know, it’s always nice to offer something new to the viewers.”

Sam, on the other hand, says, “because of Only You I was able to visit Korea. It was an experience. We enjoyed our stay there while working.”

Only You is a story that revolves around people who are searching for their happiness and how this search will change their lives forever.

It also stars Tirso Cruz III, Al Tantay, Dimples Romana, Iya Villania, Irma Adlawan, Candy Pangilinan, Bing Pimentel, Ella Cruz and Dick Israel.

Under the direction of Rory Quintos, Angel plays the role of Jillian, a stubborn girl who has a passion for cooking. Her high school friend, Jonathan, portrayed by Diether, loves her dearly and shares her passion for cooking. On the other hand, TJ, played by Sam Milby, is from a wealthy family who owns a large hotel and various restaurants. As the story progresses, each will touch the life of the other and this will spark love.
