Crossing Borders on ANC

-

MANILA, Philippines - The ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) is set to launch Crossing Borders, a 30-minute interactive talk show that will look into the issues of today’s global Pinoys starting today.

Jobs, finances, housing and immigration are just some of the key concerns that will be tackled in the program, which will be anchored by immigration lawyer Mike Templo.

Templo will be joined by a panel of experts in giving advice on concerns such as getting a Visa, finding a job abroad and handling homesickness. Viewers may send in their questions and stories through www.crossingborderstv.multiply.com.

A global Pinoy himself, the 32-year-old Templo entered US with only a student visa and a dream to establish a career as a lawyer. The UP Philosophy graduate had to juggle school with work, relying on his income and study grants to fund his education at the Touro Law School in Long Island, New York.

Once he became a member of the New York State Bar, he dedicated his knowledge and skill to help countless Filipinos overcome their immigration problems, some of which he experienced himself. Through Crossing Borders, he hopes to help even more of his countrymen.

Crossing Borders is part of ANC’s new block featuring five original and exciting ANC programs on the 10:30 p.m. timeslot — Manolo Quezon’s The Explainer: Dialogues on Mondays; Mo Twister’s controversial commentary program IMO on Tuesdays; Bam Aquino’s Start Up on Wednesdays; and Storyline on Fridays.

ANC continues to strengthen its programming with fascinating and empowering TV programs to complement its hard-hitting news coverage and analysis.
