The Speaks live at SM Supermalls

MANILA, Philippines - It’s concert time again at the SM Supermalls as The Speaks, a young, talented and charismatic five-piece band from Washington DC, makes a tour of the SM Supermalls beginning March 27, 6 p.m. at the event center of SM Megamall.

This seems to be the year of the bands at the SM Supermalls beginning with YouTube sensation, Boyce Avenue, who serenaded mallgoers this Valentine, to historic Eraserheads and Journey concerts that rocked the SM Mall of Asia.

This time, The Speaks will bring their music — which ranges from pure adrenalin driven rock to soulful and piercing soul ballads — in concert tour hosted by Boys Night Out of Magic 89.9. After their gig on March 27 at SM Megamall, they will perform and sign autographs on March 28, 6 p.m. at the SM City North EDSA Annex; March 29, SM City Fairview; April 3, SM City Cebu; and April 4, SM City Davao. The group will have a grand finale at the SM Mall of Asia on April 5 at 5 p.m.

After the phenomenal success of their single High, The Speaks is gearing up for another round of hits like Tomorrow and Regret with their album This is the Time under MCA Music in the Philippines. The band is shattering stereotypes, making believers out of naysayers, and acquiring legions of fans every single step of the way.

From winning every major music competition they’ve entered, to rocking crowds of over 25,000 people, to over a million hits on YouTube, and gaining major support from DC101, the influential US capitol based station — The Speaks have become a staple of the DC Metro area and an overseas sensation in Asia.
