Celebs shop in Greenhills
MANILA, Philippines - Celebrities are expected to be among bargain hunters and shoppers to crowd Greenhills during the 16th National Furniture, Furnishing & Fashion Festival to be held back-to-back with the Fifth Philippine Crafts Fair from March 13 to April 6.
Among frequent shoppers are Boy Abunda, Marvin Agustin, Caridad Sanchez, Claudine Barretto, Ronald Magsanoc, Julius Babao and Tintin Bersola, Michael de Mesa, Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, Dolphy and Zsa Zsa Padilla, Maki Pulido, Crispina and Nards Belen and Roberto Lim of the YKL.
They prefer to shop at Greenhills because other shoppers consider them ordinary people.
Laibert Castro coordinator of Asia Trade Planners & Convention Organizers says Greenhills is a favorite shopping mall of buyers from Metro Manila and nearby provinces because it is accessible and it has many retail shops, state-of-the-art theaters, wide parking spaces, and courteous security guards. To be showcased in the festival are modern furniture and Oriental furniture & furnishing, antique furniture and furnishing, precious and semi-precious jewelry, loose gemstones and pearls, RTW, regional sweets and delicacies, leather goods, porcelains, jars and potteries, sporting goods and accessories, among others.
