Nurses take center stage

MANILA, Philippines - Thirty-one registered nurses from different Metro Manila hospitals participate in the play titled Voyage of the Lass at AFP Theater this Friday at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The play is presented by the Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines, Inc., a non-stock and non-profit organization of chief nurses in the country, to educate the nursing community in the country through the life of Florence Nightingale.

The play depicts the love, devotion and life of Nightingale, a woman, from a rich, influential family in England, who took the “narrower and harder” path of nursing at a time of war and distress. For details, call 497-8071 or visit www.ansap.org.ph.
