Legends of OPM repeat moved to March 5

The Philippine Star

The date of the repeat performance of Legends of OPM In Concert has been moved to March 5, instead of the earlier announced March 6. This was prompted by scheduling problems among the cast who are eager to be present in the encore presentation of the acclaimed show.

Legends of OPM was first held at PICC last Dec. 30. It was so successful, the cast and everybody involved agreed to address the clamor for more of the same with a repeat performance. This is the show that will be held again at PICC on March 5, 8 p.m.

The concert stars Rico J. Puno, Nonoy Zuñiga and Rey Valera, Claire dela Fuente, Eva Eugenio and Joey Albert. All are considered Legends in Filipino music for many hit songs in the ’70s and ’80s and being total entertainers on stage.

Their recordings have endured the test of time and continue to be performed everywhere.

It was their rendition of those famous songs plus their tribute to other OPM greats that made the concert a delight. With this repeat, those who missed the first show will have the chance to enjoy music by the Legends.

There are Rico and his Kapalaran, May Bukas Pa, Buhat, Macho Guwapito and The Way We Were. Nonoy with Kumusta Ka, Init, Doon Lang and Never Ever Say Goodbye, Valera with Walang Kapalit, Naaalala Ka and Kahit Maputi Na ang Buhok Ko.

Claire will sing Sayang, Unang Pag-ibig, Something in Your Eyes and Minsan-Minsan. Eva has Tukso, Kunwari ay Ikaw, Ano Ang Gagawin Kapag Wala Ka Na, Pag-ibig Na Walang Dangal and Mahal Mo Ba Sya. Joey is set to do Iisa Pa Lamang, Tell Me, A Million Miles Away and Ikaw Lang ang Mamahalin.
