Sarah's big plans for 2009

Two spectacular shows at the Araneta Coliseum. One highly successful US concert tour. One platinum album. A runaway blockbuster of a movie. Four music awards. Sarah Geronimo did it all in 2008. So what can we expect from the Pop Princess in 2009?

Even before 2008 came to a close, Sarah released her new album, OPM Sarah Geronimo.

The CD boasts the theme song of the movie, Baler, Ngayon, Bukas at Kailanman. Also in the album are Ikaw Ang Aking Pangarap, the theme song of the telenovella Lobo; Kailangan Kita, Kung Ako Na Lang Sana, Minsan, Pers Lab, Bituing Walang Ningning and many more.

Sarah starts 2009 off with the screening of the long-awaited sequel to A Very Special Love, the box-office hit that paired her with John Lloyd Cruz.

You Changed My Life, hits the big screens on Feb. 25.

On March she’ll be leaving for the US for her concert tour, The Next One with Billy Crawford, Charlie Green and Mark Bautista as guests. Sarah will tour 14 cities until April.

In May, Sarah will be off on a provincial tour covering five cities. In October or November, she’ll be back at the Araneta Coliseum for another concert.

Sarah is also set to do a movie with Pilo Pascual.

That’s not all. She’s scheduled to cut two new albums next year and there are new commercials to film.

Such as a schedule is enough to make one’s head spin. But Sarah says she is used to the pace.

“I hope to do more records, movies, TV shows and endorsements. Marami pa po akong plano at pangarap. Salamat po sa lahat ng ng tulong.”
