GMA 7's New Year countdown

Tonight, GMA 7 welcomes 2009 with the grandest and most extravagant party of the year in Lucky ’09: The GMA New Year Countdown Special.

Live at the Seaside Area of the SM Mall of Asia, be part of the biggest party of the year starting 9 p.m. Experience a one-of-a-kind medya noche as Kapuso artists deliver nine gigantic production numbers in the grand celebration. Joining the New Year countdown are Dennis Trillo, Allan K, Jaya, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Mark Herras, Nadine Samonte, Mart Escudero, Aljur Abrenica, Rich Asuncion, Rochelle Pangilinan, Rainier Castillo, Harry Santos, Jan Nieto, Gian Magdangal, Bryan Termulo, Gabby Eigenmann and Tessbomb. 

Also in the party are John Lapus, Teri Onor, Pauleen Luna, Jennica Garcia, Yasmien Kurdi, Jennylyn Mercado, Chynna Ortaleza, Sheena Halili, Iwa Moto, Kris Bernal, Julieann San Jose, Chariz Solomon and Chris Cayzer. Meanwhile, the Abztract, BOD, Kids At Work Dancers and Sheree with the Sexbomb Dancers will also shake things up with their grooves. 6Cyclemind and Sandwich will also grace the extravaganza.

Lucky ’09: The GMA New Year Countdown Special starts the year with a breathtaking pyrotechnics display that will keep those attending the event happy. The telecast begins at 10.30 p.m.
