Shocking finale on Survivor: Gabon

It’s down the wire for the remaining castaways on Survivor: Gabon. They have endured more than a month from lack of decent food, decent clothing, decent shelter — not to mention an overabundance of irritation and backstabbing courtesy of their fellow castaways — and now the moment of truth is close at hand.

 Aired on Q-11, the season has been dubbed as a battle of Good and Evil, The Good Guys vs. The Bad Guys. After Corrine’s departure, the Nobag tribe members left in the game are Crystal Cox, Robert “Bob” Crowley, Ken Hoang, Jessica “Sugar” Kiper, Susie Smith and Matty Whitmore.

If you ask Corrine, the feisty medical sales representative, Nobag should have taken out Matty, the 29-year-old personal trainer, earlier. Corrine said that somebody should make a bold move to win the big prize. 

Crafting a fake immunity idol certainly counts as a bold move. Bob, the 57-year-old high school physics teacher, may just be the last person this season you’d think would do such a thing. But then again, he already surprised everyone by showing that among all of them, he is in fact the most capable of surviving alone in the jungle. But could he make it to the finals? He would probably need to win immunity challenges in a row but that’s highly unlikely.

Twenty-three-year-old gamer Ken had been doing great game play and is probably the least disliked among the jury. However, believing Corrine and Bob, and siding with them during tribal council may cost him the trust of Susie, Matty and Sugar.

Blonde pin-up model Sugar, on the other hand, definitely does not have the nod of the Jury members Marcus, Charlie, Randy and Corrine so winning may be far off. But there are other indications that seem to give her a fighting chance — at the very least.

Susie, the Mexican-American mom, is also likely to get the thumbs down from Marcus and company. One thing is certain: It’s payback time for the jury members.
