A musical holiday with RX '80s

Music enthusiasts will enjoy a merry holiday treat from Rx 80’s. It performs Tuesdays at Siete Pecados of Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Pasay City and Wednesdays at Tropezz Bar & Restaurant at Greenbelt 3, Makati City.

 Since it was formed more than a year ago by a group of accomplished musicians and singers, Rx 80’s has gained widespread attention and popularity among thousands of fans for its awesome mix of hits from the ‘60s and the latest contemporary songs.

It got its biggest exposure when it appeared as front act during the local concerts this year of Earth, Wind & Fire Experience, Gary Lewis & The Playboys, The Happenings, The Buckinghams and Bobby Kimball.

It will bid welcome to 2009 when it performs during the New Year’s Eve countdown at the lobby lounge of Makati Shangri-La Hotel.

It is also scheduled to open for the forthcoming shows of Sheena Easton on Feb. 12, 2009 at the Araneta Coliseum and Rex Smith, Feb. 13, 2009 at the Philippine International Convention Center.

Rx 80’s is composed of professional musicians James de la Paz, Olay Ravago, Redgy Latade, Freddie Samson and Roel Bartol and fronted by Jay Javier, Jazee Manuel and Baldo Navarro.
