Toki redefines Japanese cuisine

The Philippine Star

Toki is set to redefine the Japanese cuisine by offering a unique gastronomic experience you will never find anywhere in the metro.

On Dec. 14, 7 p.m., Toki: Japanese Fusion and Fine Dining will open its door at the second floor, 32nd and Fifth Building, cor. 32nd St. 5th Ave., Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City at 7 p.m. Aster Amoyo will be there to welcome the special guests as she’s part of the restaurant’s operations.

To lead the ribbon-cutting ceremony are Vice President Noli de Castro, Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, Taguig Mayor Freddie Tinga, Pops Fernandez and Lani Mercado.

Toki will showcase a one-of-a-kind blend of classic Japanese cuisine and contemporary dining all with that distinct Japanese flavor that will definitely make you crave for more. Japanese carpenters were hired and flown in to the country to build and design the restaurant’s interior and façade to bring out that authentic Japanese ambiance.

More importantly is the restaurant’s secret weapon: Chef Shinsuke Yonekawa, 2007 Champion of the Master Chef of Japan Competition who makes sure that all the delectable food in the menu will satisfy everyone’s craving.
