PDA winner topbills fund-raising concert

Pinoy Dream Academy Season II Grand Star Dreamer Laarni Lozada leads the performing artists in An Evening of Art and Music tomorrow, Dec. 5, 8 p.m. at the Philamlife auditorium, UN Ave., Manila.

A fund-raising concert for the Philippine Women’s University Alumni Association (PWUAA) organized by Sorrel Publishing Company, the show, says PWUAA president Geraldine Osias, is to ‘support PWU’s 90th founding anniversary programs and activities which will kick off in February 2009.’

The performers include Dean of Performing Arts Harold Galang as musical director, Willamar Ruadilla and Marc Alarcio, Rotaract Clubs of Malate under RC Bagong Bayan-Manila and of PWU under RC of Panday Pira singing champions, respectively and singer/composer Anderson Go with the Ambassadors of Light.

Invited artists are AMANAK, Nick Mascetta and the UMC Church of the Savior Vested Choir. Drs. Dolores Carrion and Fiel Nierva will host the event.

Works of contemporary visual artists from PWU, including award-winning works of students will be on exhibit under the direction of School of Fine Arts Emeritus Dean Rosario Bitanga-Peralta.
