Claudine is cooking up something

Claudine Barretto, the first artist of Star Magic, then ABS-CBN Talent Management and Development Center, has gone a long way from being one of the mainstays of the now-defunct Ang TV. She was later seen in many movies and sitcoms like Home Along Da Riles and Oki Doki Doc and later made TV history by starring in three consecutive soap operas (Mula Sa Puso, Saan Ka Man Naroroon and Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan).

Claudine also starred on Marina where she played a mermaid.

This was followed by successful teleseryes Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin and Walang Kapalit. After a short hiatus, she was again seen on Maligno.

Recently, she starred on Iisa Pa Lamang.

Claudine has always had a soft heart for children which is why she was chosen to be the spokesperson of Bantay Bata. Most of us don’t know that Claudine is also a cook. She says one of her secrets is personally making sure she uses only quality ingredients in whatever she prepares. She even does the grocery herself.

As a mom, Claudine makes sure Sabina and Santino only get the best. That is why she is choosy with what she gives them. She claims to be a makilatis in buying the right ingredients and food that she will serve at home.

Raymart and the kids cannot resist Claudine’s cooking. In the case of Sabina who is starting to be a bit choosy with what she eats, it is guaranteed that she finishes whatever Claudine prepares for her. Santino is at the stage where he is experimental with what he eats.

That’s why Claudine makes sure that she provides him with healthy and nutritious meals. Raymart can also cook which is why it is one activity the couple shares and considers one of their bonding moments.

At this stage in her life, Claudine seems to have it all. So, what more is in store for her? Something is definitely cooking!
