Teach your kids to create own Superhero Race Artwork

The Philippine Star

Magic Creams Roundwich together with GMA 7’s Art Angel can help parents stir their kids’ imagination in an engaging way. In a recent episode of Art Angel, Kuya Tonipet (left) taught kids how to create the Superhero Race Artwork. Kids can make their own Superhero Race Artwork at home, too. To get started, prepare the following materials: Old folder, straw, pencils, masking tape, scissors, yarn, marker, hangers, colored pen and plastic beads.

Once all the materials are secured, kids can now proceed with the project. Here’s how: 1. Draw your favorite flying superhero on a piece of old folder; 2. Outline the hero with a marker and color him or her with colored pens; 3. Cut the hero. Kids can ask for help from adults when handling scissors; 4. Cut out small pieces of straw and attach these to the back of the hero’s hands with masking tape; 5. Cut out two long pieces of yarn and tie these to the hanger; 6. Place each end of the yarn through the straw. Attach each end to a plastic bead. The bead will serve as a stopper; 7. Suspend the hanger from a high place, such as a shelf; 8. The Superhero Race can now begin. To make the superheroes fly, alternate pulling between the two strings.
