Yul is Best Actor at Brussels fest

Congratulations to Yul Servo (photo) for winning Best Actor (for Maryo J. delos Reyes’ Torotot) at the just-concluded 35th Brussels International Film Festival.

The Philippines is already a suki (a ‘regular’) at the said filmfest where Filipino actors like Vilma Santos, Gina Pareño, Nora Aunor, Cesar Montano and Albert Martinez have won the same honors.

Brutus (by Tara Illenberger) was named Best Asian Film.

Yul and Maryo’s entourage came back from Brussels yesterday.
