Lights out for Khryss Adalia

The Philippine Star

Actor-director-writer Khryss Adalia (photo) died of colon cancer at the UST Hospital yesterday morning. He was 62.

Adalia’s last directorial jobs on TV were Q-11’s Moms and GMA 7’s Ako si Kim Samsoon. His last film was Regal’s My Monster Mom.

Among the other TV series he directed were Mga Mata ni Anghelita, Bakekang, Te Amo, Maging Sino Ka Man, Rio del Mar and Mula Noon Hanggang Ngayon (for which he also wrote the screenplay).

He also acted in plays for PETA (Philippine Educational Theater of the Philippines).

Following his last wishes, the family will cremate his remains at Funeraria Paz, Araneta Ave., where his body presently lies.

Adalia is survived by his mother and seven siblings. — Maridol R. Bismark
