A thousand & one reasons to enjoy your living space
For many of us, we live in frenzy because of our haywire schedules. We multi-task, we attend meetings, we negotiate and close deals, we meet people from various walks of life. Being in the talk business requires me to be always on my toes most of the time. I wish to be able to spend more precious time with Nanay and Bong while relaxing under the glorious Boracay sun and sand or to have a quiet “me time” in my favorite spa or in my Lipa sanctuary.
I recently discovered the Astoria Plaza which is located within the bustling commercial and business district of Ortigas Center in Pasig City. It is only a short distance away from top business establishments, academic institutions, shopping malls, and entertainment and sports facilities. With rooms ranging from 60 square meters to 130 square meters, Astoria Plaza’s spacious and tastefully furnished suites will definitely give you a thousand and one reasons to enjoy your living space and live life to the fullest. What a wonderful place this is. It is actually home.
It is the first city hotel in the country to be awarded the most prestigious and highly-coveted Gold Crown Property status by the Resort Condominiums International (RCI). This is in recognition of Astoria Plaza’s high standards for quality facilities and excellent service. “We are very honored to receive this recognition,” says Ping Regalado, Astoria Plaza hotel manager. “This award is very special for us because Astoria Plaza is the only hotel/resort in the Philippines to be bestowed with such an honor for two straight years.”
Resort Condominiums International is owned and operated by Cendant Corporation which is one of the world’s largest hotel franchisors, vacation ownership organizations and one of the foremost providers of travel and real estate services in the world.
Since Astoria Plaza opened its doors to the public in 2000, the hotel has become one of the most respected names in the hospitality industry because of its serene beauty, uncluttered elegance, and exceptional service. Arnold Gamboa, the new customer service manager, assures everyone the Customer Service Department staff will continue to provide excellent service to all its patrons. Public relations girl Chariza Rellova is doing a good job in disseminating valuable information about the infinite wonders the Astoria Plaza offers.
Meanwhile, Club Astoria’s growth and popularity is unstoppable. From having less than 10 members when it first opened in February 2006, Club Astoria’s membership has grown many times over, making it the leading vacation ownership company in the country. Ray Ilagan, Club Astoria’s project manager discloses the many developments that will surely benefit its members including the opening of Astoria Spa & Resort in Bohol, Astoria Resort in Subic, Astoria Spa & Wellness Resort in South Forbes, Laguna and Astoria Boracay. “Therefore, Club Astoria members will have more options as to where they would like to avail their holiday privileges. This is definitely good news to everyone,” enthuses Ilagan. Indeed, ultimate vacations are always within a Club Astoria member’s reach.
Club Astoria’s project director Ric Valenzuela is proud of its latest developments such as the Second Deck in Tomas Morato and Third & Fourth Deck which are located in The Fort and 35th Floor of Astoria Plaza, respectively. Deck is a holiday exchange term which means venue. Club Astoria is fast growing and reaching out to give more people the chance to know the many benefits of vacation ownership.
Any Club Astoria member enjoys several benefits and amenities such as discount on breakfast buffet and food and beverage charges, discount on concessionaire shops/services, discount on shopping destinations in the vicinity, discount on transportation/limousine service, complimentary welcome drinks, complimentary welcome fruit bowl/cookie platter and complimentary special occasion cake during birthday, anniversary, etc.
Jeffrey and Vivian Ng, owners of Astoria chain of hotels must be beaming with pride. Bravo!
