Anjo and Jackie filing for divorce
Anjo Yllana and Jackie Manzano have decided to file for divorce, probably in Las Vegas where they got married.
“No,” said the Funfare Update informer, “there’s no third party involved.”
The truth is that the couple have been experiencing “irreconcilable differences” these past few years. They have been rumored several times to be breaking up, but they always denied it.
Jackie gave birth to their fourth child in San Francisco. It was difficult for Jackie because she was diagnosed to have a heart ailment during the early months of her pregnancy. The doctor even made her choose between her life and that of the baby. Mother and son are doing all right.
Through it all, Anjo stood by Jackie. Last Christmas, he and their children joined Jackie in San Francisco for a family holiday.
“The couple only waited for the right time to file for divorce,” added the informer. “It’s an amicable break-up. Anjo and Jackie have remained friends.”
Kris soon on US TV
Televiewers in America will soon see how their favorite game show Deal Or No Deal (DOND) is played in the Philippines with Kris Aquino as co-host of Howie Mandel when the show visits the Philippines from April 22 to 25 to tape a special episode as part of its ongoing World Tour.
ABS-CBN Business Unit head Alou Almaden said that American contestants will be playing the game according to the rules of the show’s Philippine version with the local Banker and 26K girls.
Aside from the Philippines, the US version of DOND will also be taping in Estonia and South Africa.
Richard stays at GMA
It’s official: Richard Gutierrez will stay in GMA, contrary to persistent reports that he’s moving to rival station ABS-CBN.
His mom/manager Annabelle Rama had dinner with GMA (TV) and GMA Films executives and ironed out whatever “kinks” there were.
It turned out that Annabelle was peeved by a GMA EP (executive producer) whom she suspected of favoring Dingdong Dantes at the expense of Richard.
It’s presumed that Richard will renew his GMA contract anytime soon.
After Kamandag, which ends in a few weeks, Richard will star in Asero, another action-adventure to be shot in Dubai.
