Sarah In Motion in New York
Her fashion parade of form-fitting, eye-catching costumes as she sing and dance which she demonstrated some hip-shaking moves when she did Michael Jackson “Jam” and “Smooth Criminal.” Fortunately in the midst of her strenuous dance numbers she sounded amazing. She was brilliant. The audience was given plenty. She did a shimmering rendition of Didith Reyes’ “Bakit Ako Mahihiya.” It doesn’t end there, she did a very good rendition of Andrea Bocelli’s “Prayer”
As the night progressed, it was clear that Sarah truly deserves a shot at making it big in
Her guests were superb. Raymond Manalo threw a Barry Manilow medley. Sarah did a duet with Mark Bautista (Kasalan Ba?). Erik Santos performance was excellent. A standing ovation, that is. Kris Lwrence, the R&B performer, did a good job. He marauded a stage like a panther, sinking in and out of the light with his (Michael Jackson-like) dancing prowess. When Kris Lawrence requested the audience to turn on their cell phones and wave them in the air, he delighted that the thousands of blue swaying lights looked like the stick-up glowing stars on the sky. All the guests went down the stage to be near to their screaming fans.
The night was really a memorable night. Barry Mason of 98.7 Kiss FM, and Rachel Ann Wolfe emceed the concert. Sarah in Motion has been a production of SCAT Productions and Bad Boi Entertainment.
