Angel endorses Belo Clinic

Angel Locsin has been frequenting Dr. Vicki Belo’s clinic the dermatologist was amazed at the GMA 7 star’s faith in her services. So one day, Vicki made a decision. She will add Angel to her list of celebrity-endorsers, which includes Kris Aquino, Pops Fernandez, Ara Mina, Regine Velasquez, Richard Gomez and wife Lucy.

Like the rest of the names on her list, Belo predicts Angel will do the talking for her, in the same way that the clinics’ clients testify to the effectiveness of her services.

But no one knows if it’s Angel’s face that will appear on another giant billboard Vicki plans to mount along EDSA in time to greet motorists a happy Christmas. But for sure, this Christmas will be a happy one for Belo and her staff.

She has weathered many storms, including her tiff with former endorser Rosanna Roces and rivalry with other beauty clinics. Refusing to get dragged into another controversy (e.g. the rise of new competition), Vicki declares, "All I can say is, I only compete with myself. That’s why I go abroad, to update myself on the latest trends in the field."

Next year looms as another challenging one for her and her staff. Vicki plans to open a beauty clinic for men. She also wants to expand her clinics in Tomas Morato, Quezon City and Connecticut, Greenhills.

Vicki’s big dreams are not just for her clinic though. She plans to push things Filipino through her products and services. And while she’s at it, might as well promote medical tourism, too.

Meanwhile, Vicki doesn’t have to look far where her heir apparent is concerned. She is grooming youngest child Crystalle, 23 (the eldest is director Quark Henares), in the booming business. The Ateneo Business Management graduate is currently running Forever Flawless, Belo Medical Group’s sister company, as general manager.

Crystalle is every inch a Mama’s Girl. She still sits on her popular mother’s lap and the happy mom fondly calls her "my pretty daughter" and "my baby."

What better tribute is there to give to a mother than this – for her grownup daughter to cuddle up to her and wordlessly proclaim to the world that yes, she is right there beside her mom to help her in what she loves to do best?

Crystalle has also gotten the nod of her boyfriend, who preferred to be her silent supporter, waiting patiently for her downstairs at the restaurant where Vicki met members of the press for a tete-a-tete.
