The world of big kids

I would very much like to thank those who took time to e-mail and congratulate me on such a wonderful 21st icebreaker into the real world.
I cant deny that I feel much connected to every single person who reads my articles. This is actually where I share my opinions, experiences, and I really open up to all.
My articles have truly become an outlet to my thoughts. I couldnt be thankful enough for such wonderful responses I have received from you.
Last week, I wrote about how Halloween was like for me, and I wasnt even nearly halfway through the night.
Throughout the mile and a half strip party on Santa Monica Blvd. were a few stages set up by different radio stations. The strip was packed with people. We were all literally about eight to 10 inches from each other. There was just enough room to walk.
On our way to the Abbeys, we stopped by one of the stages and waited for Britney Spears to come out and introduce her husband, or should I say ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
Unfortunately, Britney was nowhere in sight at the moment. Kevin came out about 10 minutes later, and the attention he got from the crowd was overwhelming. I really dont mean that in a good way.
Lets just say, anyone would hate to be in his position. No, there was no violence involved. The reaction was just not very pleasing.
A week and a half later, Britney Spears filed a divorce! The news broke out after she flaunted her awesome new sexy look on a talk show that same night.
She is reportedly trying to get custody for their children, while Kevin would be going for the monthly child support.
There are always two sides to every story, but from all the publicity this hot couple has put out, Kevin is one lucky man!
Would you believe the rumor that he is actually demanding a good $360-M from the pop star out of this divorce, while he will give child support?
They have supposedly signed a pre-nuptial and that humongous amount of money is definitely not included in the contract.
However, the news now is that Kevin is entitled to half of their $10-M Malibu home.
Over the past few weeks, Ive heard a whole lot of break-ups. Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe have also filed a divorce after what they call a "rocky" seven years of marriage. I guess this could mean new year, new everything, doesnt it?
The best way to look at these situations would be that everything simply happens for a reason. Hundreds of people survived the 9/11 tragedy because they missed the bus, spilled coffee on their clothes, left their door unlocked, forgot to feed the dog and had to go back home.
There are many little things that go on in our everyday lives that happen for a reason, how much more the bigger things, like a break-up?
Theres always light at the end of the tunnel, and indeed there were lights up the street on Santa Monica, and it was Abbeys!
This was the exact corner where I stood last year and yelled, "Its my birthday!" out of frustration that I couldnt get into any bars.
The line was ridiculously long and we nearly stood there for a little over half an hour on that Halloween Night.
There were so many people. One of the first things I did was take a picture of two hot guys kissing, except I stood right in between them this time! It was quite an experience.
Im not suggesting to do that now, but Im just saying That was an absolute highlight of the night. This was the simple opening to the never-ending world of the "big kids."
So, have fun, relax and enjoy life for as long it lasts. Lets all be thankful for all the wonderful days were given to make a difference in this world.
Have a Great Sunday!
