With more songs in his heart

DIRECT LINE - Boy Abunda -
Lance Raymundo has always been blessed ever since he entered show business four years ago. His first album was well-received and it spawned several hits like You Are The One and the inspirational favorite Hope For The Lonely Nights. He also gained the respect of theater aficionados via his critically-acclaimed portrayal of Romeo in Gantimpala Theater Foundation’s version of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

But all throughout his first three years of high-caliber artistic efforts, Lance maintained a low profile and managed to hit two birds with one stone.

After graduation, Lance had two options — to take over one of his family’s businesses or live out his dream of becoming a performer. As someone who does not believe in limiting himself, Lance challenged himself by taking both responsibilities. He plunged into show business while making his businesses grow.

"At first, I thought it would be difficult. It turned out that my being in show business provided the needed respite from my demanding role as a businessman. Besides, now that my businesses are all settled and has a workforce that keeps it moving on its own, I can give more time to singing," Lance says.

That’s exactly what he did. Last June, Lance’s manager, my good friend Angie Magbanua announced Lance’s return to live performances. Since then, he has had sold-out shows and his charming smile is seen in posters and billboards all over the city.

Lance is also armed with a treasure chest of new songs, which he composed and recorded during the course of his career.

His experiences as a singer and actor have made him a more mature, well-rounded composer, making the new album he is currently working on something to look forward to.

Lance’s return to the spotlight gave him a reinforced glow and star presence. His concert series last month was such a tremendous success. Lance is staging another major performance at Dish (at ABS-CBN’s The Loop) on Sept. 28 which promises to be not just a feast for the ears but the eyes as well with a full band and sexy back-up dancers.

With all the good things coming his way, Lance is proving there is no stopping him from being one of the most exciting entertainers we have around.

Since its humble beginnings in 1954 in Juan Luna, Binondo, Hanford’s growing product line has turned into a full-blown industry and has considerably expanded its distribution outlets — not just all over Greater Manila but in different regions of the country as well. It has become a well-loved family tradition passed from one generation to the next with the ease only quality, time-tested products can command.

The pioneer product line of Mansfield International, Inc., Hanford has garnered local and international acclaim for its outstanding product quality.

It has become the official underwear of major sports events like the Southeast Asian games as well as the Philippine Basketball League, the Philippine Basketball Association, the Metro Ball Association and the UAAP.
