The F girls love traveling in style

-
For the F women – Angel Aquino, Daphne Oseña and Amanda Griffin – traveling is a major part of their job as hosts of one of the country’s leading lifestyle shows. Each episode features various leisure and fashion trends, local culture and the latest vacation spots, requiring them to traipse all over the country and the globe.

While they all agree traveling is lots of fun, these fashionable females acknowledge that packing is always a challenge. Even as their packing depends on the destination and itinerary, they are always expected to look at their fashionably best anytime, anywhere. To make sure they travel in style, the F women choose Samsonite luggage and Hedgren bags as travel partner.

Daphne is a meticulous traveler. As first-time mom, she loves every minute she spends with baby Sophia. The family’s first trip was a short one to Cebu where daughter Sophia proved to be a well-behaved travel companion.

With a new family in tow, Daphne must make sure she’s even more organized.

"I tend to bring a lot when we travel. These days I am trying very hard to be more organized and learn how to travel light since I am now packing for three," Daphne explains.

To be organized in style, Daphne prefers the Samsonite 900 Series Hommage luggage. This luxurious luggage collection is for travelers seeking style, comfort and optimal efficiency. Designed especially for women, the Hommage line includes upright luggage, duffle bags, beauty case and lady bag.

Amanda Griffin is a heavy pack traveler. Her hectic schedule requires a great deal of traveling. Her itinerary includes a thrice-yearly, week-long stay in Malaysia for her music VJ work for Channel V; domestic runs for her modeling commitments and F coverage; and of course, visiting her family in Australia.

Amanda admits packing can be bothersome. "I’m not organized, and I’m a heavy packer," she says. Most of the time, she lets her maid do the packing so she already knows what toiletries and wardrobe to pack in a wheeled carry all, which Amanda lugs around even on local assignments.

Amanda’s luggage of choice is the chic Samsonite Black Label collection. Designed for people who want functional style and require their travel bags to be fundamental accessories, the Samsonite Black Label collection has a stylish unisex design that combines overall back with red detailing. Its special features address the needs of heavy packers like Amanda.

Angel Aquino is light and casual. Anyone who’s met her is struck by how fragile she seems. But she’s strong enough to take on anything though. She’s mom to 10-year-old Lana and eight-year-old Thea; a budding entrepreneur as co-owner of Arte Productions, a special events group; and of course, a co-host of F. She works and takes care of her kids with a passion, but with a lightness of heart and hand.

For urban nomads like Angel, packing light is a must. When the family travels together, expect Angel to pack light.

"If they get to come with me – the heaviest they’d probably lug are swimming gear. Otherwise, everything would fit in a duffle bag or huge tote. I just need my planner, folder, shades, a make-up kit that mostly holds six shades of lipstick – I hardly wear make-up – and my moisturizer. I have a toiletry kit, which its contains only need replenishing. That’s about it," she says.

Angel’s favored travel gear is the ergonomically-designed Hedgren line. Designed by Xavier Kegels, an Antwerp designer with Swedish roots, Hedgren is a chic line of modern travel bags for the new nomads who frequently travel, whether short or long distances. Hedgren has a complete range of stylish ladies’ bags, backpacks, ICT carriers and other accessories.
