For Sharon, ‘it’s just goodbye’

After the first of a two-part send-off party for the megastar Sharon Cuneta which garnered a high 19.1 percent rating and 38.2 percent audience share versus its competitor’s 17.4 percent and 33.6 percent audience share, Sharon, the musical talk show, enters its season break with a stellar line-up of guests headed by Randy Santiago, Louie Heredia, Raymond Lauchengco, Gino Padilla, Juan Miguel Salvador, Jett Pangan, Bituin Escalante, Dessa, Akafellas, Zsa Zsa Padilla and Dolphy.

Sharon’s idol Cheche Lazaro, a guest in the show’s final telecast, said, "What makes Sharon’s show different is that it is full of goodwill and is anchored on good stories which is a rarity during these times of reality and shock TV."

ABS-CBN’s Executive Vice President and Head of the Entertainment Group Charo Santos-Concio bids the megastar farewell in behalf of the network. She said, "We will always eagerly await for Sharon’s return on television as she manages to reinvent herself everytime she comes out on screen."

Boy Abunda and Korina Sanchez will host the highly emotional yet fun and entertaining final episode of Sharon, produced and written by Noel Ferrer and directed by Rowell Santiago. Catch the last episode today at 5:30 p.m. on ABS-CBN Channel 2.
