The Grammy nominees

SOUNDS FAMILIAR - Baby A. Gil -
Veteran rock acts Bob Dylan and U2 share center stage with rap group Outkast and newcomers India Arie, Alicia Keys and Nelly Furtado in the major categories of the 44th Grammy Awards nominations. The trophies will be handed out at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 27.

U2, whose single Beautiful Day was named both Record and Song of the Year in last year’s Grammys, got eight, the most by any artist. Aside from Album of the Year and Best Rock Album for All That You Can’t Leave Behind, the famous Irish group is also nominated for Song of the Year for Stuck in a Moment You Can’t Get Out of, Record of the Year for Walk On, Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group for Elevation. Walk On and Elevation are up against each other in the Best Rock Song category.
