Sony's bets at MTV Music Awards

The nominations for this year's MTV Philippine Video Music Awards have been announced and Sony Music congratulates the artists in its roster who made it to the final cut.

For Best Female Video, Viktoria was nominated for her futuristic video of the single Pwede Ba? from her album Secrets.

Wolfgang bagged Best Group Video nomination for Atomica, a cut from their latest album Serve in Silence.

But Kulay has a different story. Ever since their groundbreaking computer generated music videos for Burn and Shout, the band has become a standard bearer for high-concept, state-of-the-art music videos and has won numerous local awards for them. In fact, Shout was among the finalists in the 2nd MTV Philippine Video Music Awards. Kulay's latest entry is Ask For More, a single off the band's latest album Chapter What?

(MTV ballots are also available at Tower Records, Music One, Odyssey and Radio City outlets. Fans can also send their entries including their name, age and telephone number to P.O. Box 1696 Makati Central Post Office, 1256 Makati City or fax them to 6335694. Deadline for votes is on May 21.)
