In Inner Country, Bob Aves is joined by some of the most prolific musicians in the local music scene has known. Afro-Cuban percussionist Bo Razon, bassists Jeri de Leon, Colby de la Calzada and Meong Pacana, drummers Michael Alba and Mar Dizon, saxophonist Tots Tolentino, folk singer Noel Cabangon and even Bob's wife Grace Nono.

Inner Country, a nine-cut original album is a summary of Bob's experiences and aspirations. As he says, "It's about time we Filipinos create a sound that truly represents our layered consciousness shaped by our living history. It is my passion to begin the process of coming home to it at the same time utilizing the new knowledge gathered from own life experiences."
