‘Gandang Gabi Vice’ includes GMA-7 airing in TV return

MANILA, Philippines — Vice Ganda’s popular late-night comedy talk show “Gandang Gabi, Vice” (GGV) is making its much-awaited comeback next month, ABS-CBN announced.
ABS-CBN chief operating officer Cory Vidanes confirmed the show’s return during the network’s Annual Stockholders’ Meeting, revealing that “Gandang Gabi, Vice” will air across GMA Network, iWant and Kapamilya Channel in September.
The announcement marks the return of one of Vice’s most popular television programs, which became known for its comedy, celebrity interviews, games and candid conversations with guests.
“GGV IS COMING BACK!” ABS-CBN Public Relations posted on social media following Vidanes’ announcement.
“Gandang Gabi, Vice” premiered in 2011 and ran for several years, becoming a staple of ABS-CBN’s Sunday-night programming. The show featured Vice’s signature brand of humor and attracted a wide range of celebrity guests and personalities.
Its comeback also comes following Vice’s recent partnership with MediaQuest Holdings, which was announced earlier this month.
The comedian and TV host signed a partnership with MediaQuest, the media conglomerate chaired by Manuel V. Pangilinan, in what was described as a major collaboration between Vice and one of the country’s leading media organizations.
Despite the new partnership, Vice has maintained ties with ABS-CBN through various projects, including his long-running noontime program “It’s Showtime.”
More details about the new season of “Gandang Gabi, Vice,” including its premiere date, format and guest lineup, are expected to be announced soon.
