Second chance at love?: Kris Lawrence pursues Katrina Halili anew
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Katrina Halili shared the letter Kris Lawrence left her bringing "kilig" frenzy to social media users.
In her latest vlog on her YouTube channel, she revealed the contents of the letter.
In the first part of the vlog, their daughter Katie insists Katrina and Kris to kiss on the lips.
While they were in the car on the way home, Katrina read the letter Kris left for her.
Kris thanked Katrina for giving him another chance to be with her in the past few months.
Kris said that their reunion was something special for him. Katrina cried while reading the letter written by Kris.
“I’m not here to rush anything. I just want you to feel safe, safe to be yourself, safe to take your time, safe knowing that whatever happens, my intentions with you are genuine,” Kris said in the letter.
"Baka kasi hindi aksidente that life gave us this opportunity to reconnect. Maybe we were meant to reconnect at this version of ourselves — wiser, stronger at hopefully better than before," he added.
But the most thrilling part of Kris' letter was the question: “Pwede na po ba akong manligaw sa'yo?”
Kris also revealed that his desire to court was not because of their past or other people's opinions, but because he wanted to have the opportunity to make Katrina happy every day.
"If you allow me another chance to know you more, make you smile more, support you, choose you every single day, and if your answer isn't today, that is okay. Hindi naman ako nagmamadali kasi right now masaya naman ako kung anong meron tayo," Kris added.
The actress immediately told Katie that her daddy was planning to court her, which earned Katie's immediate approval.
