Andi Eigenmann's harness snaps in horror film shoot
MANILA, Philippines - Andi Eigenmann encountered an accident while shooting her film "Tragic Theater."
In a scene where she had to wear a harness, the cord snapped while she was being raised.
“Pagsalita ni Andi ng Latin, nag-snap ‘yong cord. So sa lahat ng shoot namin, wala ng Latin,” recalled director Tikoy Aguiluz, who found the incident very eerie. They were shooting a scene where Andi was being exorcized.
“No’ng nahulog kasi ako, inaangat pa lang nila ako,” Andi recalls the incident during the presscon of the film on Thursday.
“Pero habang inaangat nila ako nagto-throw ako ng lines, inaalala ko kasi ‘yong lines ko kasi it’s a different language. So I was doing lines with Kuya John [Estrada]. So nag-line si Kuya John, pagsagot ko doon na ako nahulog.”
The word that Andi said in Latin meant “ang kukulit n’yo.”
The fall did not cause Andi serious injuries, neither did it stop her from finishing the film shoot.
“Tinanggap ko po ‘yong pelikula, it was a commitment. So ibibigay ko lahat ng makakaya ko, kahit maaksidente ako, itutuloy pa rin,” she said.
