Chiz still needs church annulment before marrying Heart

MANILA, Philippines- “Definitely walang kapantay o wala pa kong naranasan na ganitong pakiramdam.”

This is how Senator Chiz Escudero described his relationship with Heart Evangelista in an interview with Anthony Taberna on “Tapatan Ni Tunying” aired Thursday.

“Kahit naman sino siguro na may pinagdaanan siyempre mas mataas ang standards, ang antas at ang hinahanap mo. Nakamit at naabot ko pa rin 'yon ngayon,” he added.

The Senator is also proud of the positive influence of his girlfriend to him  in separating his professional and personal lives. “Ngayon kung may problema man sa opisina, may problema sa trabaho iwan 'yon do'n. Hindi tulad noon, wala naman ibang bubuno sa oras at araw mo, e di dalhin mo na rin problema mo, dalhin mo sa bahay.”

He's also happy about Heart's relationship with his two kids, who,  he said,  need a mother figure most of the time.

“Magkasundo sila,” he replied with a smile when asked abut the actress' relationship with his kids. “Siyempre bagamat nakikita nila nang regular ang mommy nila, iba pa rin ang presensiya ng babae [sa bahay].

“Well, sa akin nakatira ang mga anak ko, lalo na may babae akong anak baka maging brusko 'yon katulad ng anak kong lalaki, tulad ko. At least may nakikita siyang hinhin dito sa bahay.”

Since their relationship seems to be heading to marriage, many are just waiting for Chiz to propose to Heart.

But the Senator doesn't want to hurry things since he still has some issues to resolve before finally asking for Heart's hand.

“Siyempre gusto ko, oo,” he replied when asked if he sees himself marrying Heart. “May inaayos lang akong konti pang gusot sa akin. Pero sana sa hindi malayong hinaharap para maging ganap ang aming ugnayan.”

When asked about the “gusot” he's talking about, the Senator said that his marriage with Christine Flores was “annulled sa korte pero sa simbahan ay hindi pa.”

He also adds that considering the Kapuso actress as the next “first lady” seems impossible for now since “ayokong sabayan 'yong nagdeklara na [tatakbong presidente]. Mas gusto ko maayos 'yong pang-personal kong buhay bago ang pang-publiko kong buhay.”
