Mountain Run set to promote eco and sports tourism in Liloan
CEBU, Philippines — It’s all systems go for the Run Kings Mountain Run slated on April 28 in Barangay Yati, Liloan, Cebu.
The unique race aims to promote the eco and sports tourism industry of this northern Cebu town known for its mouth-watering rosquillos and “masi”.
From Yati, the participants will pass through the three mountain barangays of Santa Cruz, San Roque and Lataban, showcasing the beautiful villages of Liloan highlands.
Organized by CSAS, Team Viva Events, Move by Kath Jumapao, and Liloan LGU headed by mayor Aljew Frasco, the event features the 4K, 8K, and 12K categories for both male and female runners.
The champions in all three categories will pocket a uniform cash prize of P7,000, while the second and third placers will take home P3,000 and P1,000, respectively.
