- Caecent No-ot Magsumbol -
Team Cebu City's differently-abled swimmers posted an initial deposit of two golds and two silvers in the Philippine Olympic Festival for Persons With Disabilities at the Trace Aqua Center in Los Baños, Laguna yesterday.

Multi-titled paralympian Arnold Balais and the fast-rising Noel Gonzales grabbed the two golds, while decorated Rolando Alvarez and Hilario Romano grabbed a silver each in the 50m freestyle.

Balais got his first gold under the S-9 classification of the orthopedically-handicapped swimmers and Gonzalez in the S-7 class.

Alvarez, on the other hand, got his silver in the S10 class and Romano in the S11 classification.

TCC is expected to grab more medals under the 50m breaststroke contest late yesterday.
