Mama, Canoy, Domingo to headline Sanman’s year-end boxfest
CEBU, Philippines — Former world title challenger Jayson Mama (20-2, 10KOs) is set to make his return following a controversial split decision loss in Puerto Rico two months ago.
The “Smasher” from General Santos City will face Michael “The Chieftain” Bravo (14-5, 7KOs) in a 10-round flyweight bout on December 27 in Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat.
In addition, highly ranked Joey “The Babyface” Canoy (22-5, 14KOs) will take on the tough Ariston Aton (9-12-1, 5KOs) in an eight-round minimumweight clash, while Esneth “Hard Hitter” Domingo (20-2, 12KOs) of ZIP/Sanman battles veteran Reymark Taday (11-23-1, 6KOs) in another six-round flyweight matchup.
The rest of the card features RV Deniega vs Jelo Bacalso, Gabriel Tapales vs Mike Kinaadman, Ivan Trasmonte vs Orlando Lacar Jr., and Ian Muyso vs Mark Clyde Felicida.
