Crazy Horse, Hiroshi lead winners in Aboitiz Men's League

- Sona Mae V. Povadora -
Crazy Horse and Hiroshi Football Club jumpstart its bid in a blazing run, coasting to easy victories over their respective opponents in the 9th Aboitiz Men's League yesterday at San Roque field in Subangdaku, Mandaue City.

Former national players Joshua and brother Dave Fegidero of Bacolod powered Crazy Horse' scoring blitz as they carved out an 8-0 white wash over Rugmo Debra while Hiroshi scored an 8-1 victory over Danao FC.

Joshua, who also coaches Cebu International School, broke the ice for Crazy Horse, sneaking in at the 6th minute before he added three-more goals at the 35th, 44th, and 6th minutes.

His brother Dave, on the other hand, scored a hat trick at the 27th, 62nd and 67th minute while Shin Sigiura banged in Crazy Horse' final goal at the 81st minute.

On the other hand, Jan Michael Flores struck two goals for Hiroshi at the 59th and 79th minute.

Marion Cubelo ignited Hiroshi's assault scoring at the 35th minute, but Danao's Arnold Perez scored his team's only goal at the 42nd to tie the match 1-all.

But Hiroshi easily found the answers as it drew more goals from Martin Bontia in the 46th minute, Rocky Garciano in the 65th and Voltaire Montebon at the 70th.

To count more, Junard Aguilar struck at the 74th and four minutes after Julius Acre chipped in another goal.

In the boys-15, Don Bosco College had a superb offensive display, scoring a 13-0 blowout over University of Southern Philippines Foundation.

Michael Pato and Sean Gacayan powered DBC with three goals while Geshan Nardo and Bernard Cantalejo added two goals each.

In the other game, Colegio dela Inmaculada-Mandaue posted a 4-2 triumph over San Roque FC.
