Thai actor Joss Way-Ar open to collaborate with Filipino stars
MANILA, Philippines – Top Thai actor Joss Way-Ar expressed interest in working with Filipino actors.
The first-time Manila visitor showed his enthusiasm for a potential collaboration at the press conference for the Star Magic All-Star Games held at the Mall of Asia Arena last Sunday, August 23.
"I actually was fortunate to be in the premiere of the movie 'Under Parallel Skies' by our friend Nong Win Metawin and Janella Salvador. I really love their chemistry and I really hope that we have a chance to work together and obviously it's a pretty good movie. Hopefully in the next upcoming projects we can work again," Way-Ar said.
"Under Parallel Skies" is a 2024 romantic movie set in Hong Kong that was a Filipino Thai co-production.
Way-Ar is one of the popular Thai BL (Boys Love) actors. He and his BL partner Gawin Caskey are popularly known as JossGawin. They have starred in numerous projects, notably in the supernatural vampire romance series "My Golden Blood." Their next project together will be the romance-action series "Round One," where Joss plays a (Mixed Martial Arts) fighter.
The Star Magic stars led by Gerald Anderson dominated the basketball exhibition match against the visiting Thai stars, 83-51.
