Fresenius firms support PRC relief efforts

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Fresenius Kabi Philippines and Fresenius Medical Care Philippines have teamed up to donate 200,000 euros to the Philippine Red Cross in support of emergency relief efforts in areas devastated by Typhoon Yolanda. Donated only a few days after the typhoon struck the Philippines, Philippine Red Cross used the funds to provide survivors with food, clean water, sanitation supplies, shelter and other necessities.

“The companies’ goal was to support swift, un-bureaucratic assistance to the people affected by the typhoon. Fresenius Kabi Philippines and Fresenius Medical Care Philippines are pursuing further relief measures, and will continue to monitor the situation and provide assistance as warranted by the needs of Filipinos,” said Matthias Mueller, executive vice president of Fresenius Kabi North East.

Fresenius Kabi Philippines Inc. is a leader in clinical nutrition and volume therapy. It has a comprehensive range of IV generic drugs, infusion therapies, and clinical nutrition products as well as medical devices for administering these products.
