Vegetarian chips, sauces, anyone?

Here’s good news to people who can’t shake off their penchant for those calorie-and fat-rich chips and sauces. Now you can enjoy nibbling and dipping your favorite finger foods without the guilty feeling.

Learn how to prepare healthy vegetarian chips and sauces at a seminar-workshop sponsored by the Medical Adventist Medical Center to be held on June 22-23, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Angelo King Health and Wellness Center.

Resource persons to the two-day event are noted American certified chefs Jose Datu-On and Nathan Martin from Orlando, Florida. Datu-On is banquet chef of the Florida Hospital Orlando, while Martin is chef d cuisine of the Sheraton North Orlando.

Registration fee is P1,500 inclusive of lunch, snacks and workshop materials, with a 20-percent discount to early registrants.

The Medical Adventist Medical Center (formerly the Manila Sanitarium and Hospital), is a pioneer healing institution of the Seventh Day Adventist Church which is known for their practice of healthy diets.
