Yayo and Melvin’s split: Not yet official
My “Sis” Yayo Aguila didn’t expect that being mum about Melvin Viceral in her recent TV interviews would fuel speculation and spark headlines about their break-up.
“I didn’t want to talk about Melvin while promoting my Cinemalaya movie,” she explained. “Whatever struggles we are going through, I would rather not publicize. It’s better that we deal with it privately. That’s why I got surprised na split-up namin ang news even if I didn’t exactly mention anything about it.”
Since Melvin is not from showbiz, Yayo wants to shield him from public scrutiny as much as possible. Living up to the title of her Cinemalaya film, “Tayo Lang Ang Nakakaalam,” Yayo would rather keep matters between them.
But as her “Sis,” I prodded Yayo to share even just a bit about the state of her heart.
“Melvin and I have not talked things over yet. I’m not closing my doors,” she revealed, “but as of now, I’m too busy with work to think about love.”
So, is it just “Time Out” or is it “Time’s UP” for Yayo and Melvin? But even if their relationship officially ends, it did not fail. That’s because they have become better persons after their journey together.
Yayo has been through hell and back in the name of love. Now, her heart is in limbo. Hopefully, paradise awaits.

Angela: “I used to struggle in dramatic scenes. So, I worked to improve on it. It’s more than a job, it’s my responsibility to bring life to a character that is loved by many. So, I don’t want to let them down.”
Rabin: “Angela taught me to be more patient. She helps me improve my English.”
Angela: “Rabin has taught me by example how to get along with everyone on the set. He’s my happy pill. His positivity rubs off on me. I am shy by nature, so some people think I’m suplada. Rabin has helped me come out of my shell.”
