Whirlpool to hold laundry business seminar

MANILA, Philippines - As part of its corporate citizenship program and to assist interested entrepreneurs to start an effective and profitable laundry business, Whirlpool will be holding a two-day seminar on  Oct.18 and 19, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Exatech Bldg. #56 Cordillera St., cor. E. Rodriguez Sr. Avenue, Quezon City. This laundry business seminar organized by Whirlpool, the world’s leading manufacturer of washing machines and other major appliances, is intended to support, educate and encourage people who are looking for new businesses to get into a lucrative industry.

Participants will learn the important aspects on how to put up a laundry business and will be taught the rudiments of doing laundry.   They will also be introduced to such details as what machines, detergents and other elements to use.

Likewise, they will be told where to get laundry equipment, detergents and dry-cleaning solvents as well as the details of business management and financing.

Interested participants will be charged a fee of P1,950 inclusive of lunch, snacks and seminar handouts to be used throughout the sessions.  Seminar speakers and demonstrators have wide-ranging experiences in starting a laundry business and proven expertise in this line of work.
