PhilCare names new president

MANILA, Philippines - PhilhealthCare Inc. (PhilCare) announced the appointment of Noemi Azura as the new company president starting July 15, 2013.  Azura replaces Monico V. Jacob, who continues to serve as a member of the company’s board of directors.

The change in management is PhilCare’s strategic move to ensure the company’s continued strength and leadership as it starts the next 30 years of delivering effective and quality health care services to Filipinos. 

“For more than 30 years, PhilCare has been consistently delivering its promise of making quality health care available to Filipinos.  We are starting our next 30 years with the addition of Azura to the PhilCare management team and we are confident that she will be significant in steering the company towards our goal of being the provider of choice in health care services,” Jacob said.

Azura brings more than 23 years of work experience in consumer banking gained from global financial institutions.  She has a track record in successfully leading teams to success with her skills in building distribution channels of new businesses, driving performance of large sales force, and transforming businesses to position for growth and expansion.
