Soap making seminar set

MANILA, Philippines - The Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program will conduct a one-day seminar on soap-making at the PTTC, Rm. A and B, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Roxas Blvd., Manila, cor. Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., on Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Participants will learn different kinds of soap, household and body care products through lectures and hands-on training for the making of liquid dishwashing soap, liquid hand soap, liquid all-purpose soap, bar detergent soap, powder soap, dishwashing paste soap, herbal soap, glycerin (transparent bath soap), liquid bleach, fabric softener, tile and bowl cleaner, glass cleaner, carpet shampoo, air freshener, car shampoo, tire black.

Topics to be discussed are sourcing of materials, costing and marketing strategies. Each participant will receive a certificate of training right after the seminar. Lunch, snack, hand-outs and all the chemical raw mats for hands-on will be provided.
